Eto is an Ukaku kagune that is considered one of the strongest kagune's in the manga/anime. It takes the form of a wing with a Scimitar blade extending from the left shoulder in it's first form. In later forms more of these blades are produced the wing seems to vanish.

This kagune is the third most expensive kagune currently and the only one with a complete kakuja state with it's finale stage being 5,000,000 RC cells to create.

Trivia

  • There is only etok1 and etok3 as of now with the later addition of a etok2 eventually.
  • It is one of the only complete kakuja's in the anime.
  • Etok3 is considered easier to get compared to Kaneki's stage 6 kakuja.
  • Etok3 tends to be a huge target for rkers due to it's large hitbox, but also is a beacon for low levels as they expect them to be able to scare foes off.

Stages

Eto's kagune has 3 stages.

Stage 1

This stage is usable once you purchased it from the Kakuhou Surgeon. It consists of a Ukaku wing on the right shoulder, capable of crystallizing, and an another Ukaku blade on the left shoulder. Due to its rather small hitbox it isn't viable in PVP. Mostly used for farming or in a little skirmish.

Moves
  • Click: You use the blade and slash in front of you, dealing damage in a little area in front.
  • E: You crystallize your wing and send several bursts of crystals at your enemy, it is quite hard aiming since it only shoots shards from you left shoulder. So it requires good aiming skills.
  • R: You dash forward while holding your blade infront of you, dealing damage to all targets in your way, being one of the moves that can help you in PVP if you use the first stage.
  • F: You jump up in the air and dash forward and damage all targets in the way and in the area where you land. You also create a small shockwave as you damage the players around you.

Strategies

Playing with Eto1
  • Eto's E move has a good range and deals a lot of range, but it is hard to aim with it and you can't run or dash while using it. The best way to use it is when your enemy is paralyzed and you have kept enough distance between you and your opponent.
  • Your R move is fast, but it has a bad range, has straight aim and has a bad hitbox.. You can use it to attack your enemy when you can or use it to dodge attacks that you can't dodge easily.
  • When using stage 1, your F move is the best move for PvP. As it is fast, hard to dodge and the shockwave is huge, you can use it when you distracted your enemy by using R first.
Playing against Eto1
  • When your opponent uses the E move, you can just charge to your enemy in a diagonal direction so that you can use a strong move or combo, as your opponent can't run, dash or counter-attack while using this move.
  • Your opponent's R move can be dodged, as his/her hitbox is only available on his/her blade and the attack is straight. Though some users tends to use it to dodge a move or to distract you.
  • Your enemy's F move is the hardest move to dodge. Because of its speed and its shockwave, your only choice is to dodge backwards if you have high physics or block. Blocking may be one of the best ways because Eto1's shockwave is very hard to dodge even if you have high physics. Easily said, blocking Eto1's F move is very hard since you need good reflexes.

Stage 2

This stage is quite good in PVP as it has a very large hit-box, fast moving projectiles and high damage. You become larger while having it active, two blades grow from a concentration of spikes, one on the left side and one on the right side and gives you a mask covering half of your face.

  • Requirements : 750.000 RC Cells
Moves
  • Click: You use the blades on your shoulders to slash enemies.This is good at short range.
  • One slash at a time from either left or right blade, having a quite large hit-box due to the size of the blades it can be used to make your target stressed or deal some good damage.
  • E: You spin around and shot a burst of crystals propelled in a cone area dealing massive damage if you were close and a little bit of damage if you are far way from your target, you can use this skill to further sustain your damage when the target is far away but it is also viable that you use this as a shotgun to deal bursts of damage to the opponent.
  • R: You dash forward and smash your blades together damaging any units in an area infront of you, as if you cause a shockwave. It can be used to stress people and cause major damage. Its also very good to interrupt dodgers if you know how to aim.
  • F: You stand stationary on the ground for about 0.2 seconds then abruptly dash in for a spinning charge with your blades with a huge hitbox. It is very good to damage people than run in close as it can damage people in a very large area and it is very hard dodging, the most powerful skill of the EtoK1.

Strategies

Playing with EtoK1
  • Unlike Eto1, your shards aren't shot straight ahead but is shot like a shotgun. While using shards, you must be the closest possible to the enemy if you want to deal a lot of damage.
  • The R move has a big shockwave and has a big knockback, you can use it to throw away your enemy if you are in a very bad situation or you are about to get hit by a strong close range move.
  • The F move is slow compared to others, but has a big hitbox. Try to predict where the enemy tries to dash and then use the F move on your opponent before he finishes his dash. Your enemy won't be able to dodge your F move if he jumps or he doesn't dodge as soon as possible (Unless he blocks).
Playing against EtoK1
  • Your enemy is unable to shoot shards straight forward but shoots it like a shotgun. It means that the further away you are from your enemy, the lesser damage you will take, but it also means that you are almost unable to dodge EtoK1's shards. The best way to counter EtoK1's F move is to stay away from your enemy as far as you can or block if you have good reflexes.
  • EtoK1's R move has a big shockwave and can throw you away as far as you can. If you want to dodge EtoK1's R move, just dash backwards fast. If you get hit, your enemy will be unable to use a move for a second, in that case use a long range move, your enemy won't be able to attack you in that case.
  • EtoK1's F move has a big hitbox, but is slow and after your enemy used the F move, he will be unable to use a move for a while. Try to distract your enemy by dashing at the left and right. If the distract is successful, you can use a strong move or a combo. If you are about to get hit by your enemy, the only way to dodge it is to dash backwards as soon as possible or block.

When EtoK2 Is Released, EtoK3 Will Have A Higher RC Cell Requirement.

Stage 3

This stage requires 5 million RC cells and is the final form of Eto's kagune. You transform into a massive monster with the unique One-Eyed Owl Kakuja mask and 4 massive blades on each side. You also have the spikes from the back. It is very good selection for PVP; It has huge hitboxes and high damage output. It also make you a larger target as your size increases drastically.

  • Requirements : 5,000,000 (5M) RC Cells
Moves
  • Click: You slash with one of the sides blades at the time, dealing damage and is rather easy to hit as it has a very large hitbox.
  • E: You duck down a bit and show out several bursts of Ukaku Shards, capable of dealing insane amounts of damage when upclose and moderate in a distance if all of them hit. It is very good to further deal damage even when the opponent is afar. This could also prevent enemies from healing while dodging.
  • R: You dash forward as you slash with the blades on you left side first and then your right side, capable of dealing good damage to unsuspecting enemies. It can also be used as a short-distance dodge.
  • F: You jump in the air and then smash down damaging enemies in an area where you land. This one deals massive damage if you land it but since its rather slow its quite hard hitting with. It takes awhile to practice it and get used to the distance you jump so you know where you will land, the most powerful skill of the EtoK3.
